731 did an excellent job with the read-aloud today. We generated a great working list of character traits for two characters in our new story. Continue to make connections as you read independently.

731 -- worked hard today "zooming in" on those small moments. Keep working at focusing on all the details IN the moment. Remember, we are becoming better readers and writers by doing what good readers and writers do. The Writing Process is a tool used by good writers. Your knowledge of the Writing Process will help you as a writer, whether you are working on a personal narrative (a story about you, by you) or another writing genre, now or in the future.
